Yuzu is a citrus fruit that has gained popularity in recent years. It is about the size of an average lemon, has an uneven texture, and a unique flavor profile that is fragrant and tart, resembling grapefruit. It is believed that yuzu originated from the upper river basin of the Yangtze River in China. Through the years this bright yellow fruit made its way to Japan and Korea[1].
